Job description

We are looking for a customer-centric, datadriven manager to lead our sales team through its exciting next phase of growth. The Sales Manager will be responsible for building a playbook to expand and improve the sales process for the markets and segments we focus on. This leader will bring expertise in Software as a Service and a track record of driving performance and growth in a sales team.

You are passionate about our mission to make event AV & Event companies run a more efficient business. You will set a strategic vision for the sales team. You will thrive in our fast-paced environment as an engine-builder and a master of execution, responsible for driving revenue. You are a data-driven, strategic thinker who takes ownership over the sales team exceeding their goals. You share our love for our customers and are committed to creating a challenging, open and positive environment for the young but experienced sales team, which currently consists of seven Account Executives and one Business Development Representative. 

Rentman is a leading software provider for professionals in the event industry. We provide event companies from all over the world with software that ticks all the boxes when it comes to organizing and planning their business. Our customers use Rentman to realize thousands of events, ranging from weddings to international tours, or even pope visits. We like to think of ourselves as the Swiss army knife of project management: quotations, crew planning, transportation scheduling, item tracking and invoicing.


Your responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other teams and key internal stakeholders to align the sales team to the company’s strategic vision and quarterly goals, maximize Rentman's commercial footprint globally, and drive performance
  • Inspire, lead, and enable the sales team to meet or exceed goals based on a sales methodology, a forecast methodology, and structured deal management by sales stage
  • Develop, refine and execute a sales strategy by analyzing current state, assessing where we have opportunities to improve, and innovating to ensure predictable, repeatable, and scalable results that drive revenue growth and increase profitability
  • Communicate the sales strategy, implement key performance indicators, and make the team accountable for results
  • Ensure the right team, approach, capabilities and tools are in place.

Job requirements

About you

  • 2 to 4 years experience in leading and coaching a sales team in a growing SaaS company and/or leading a consultative sales proces
  • Data-driven - you leverage and can communicate using data to improve KPIs that matter to Sales Representatives
  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends and patterns
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal (in English)
